Today we bring you a special guest who will talk about the importance of weight training for the young athlete. Our guest has been involved in weight training for over thirty years-as a young athlete himself and now as a way of life. He started off as a young athlete with improper technique and a desire to “just get stronger”. Decades later, with years of experience under his belt, he improved his technique and understanding of the benefits of weight training as it relates to athletic performance. Our guest also understands that for a young athlete it is important to know at what age one should start weight training, the proper techniques used in weight training and most of all the benefits of weight training as it relates to sports performance.
