Hello everyone and welcome to the DYA Network. Today’s episode is a rewind of one of our prior guests Dr. Brian Fullem-sports podiatrist and author. His interview contained information that I wanted to talk about especially after going with my daughter to purchase new running shoes for track. In my interview with Dr. Fullem, he discussed key information which I believe is important for parents and athletes to know concerning athletic shoes and staying injury free especially pertaining to the feet. In the interview we talked about how pain can be perceived in the feet but may actually be from a higher source, how often should an athlete obtain new shoes, how to find the best fit for athletic wear and also that injury prevention may be more related to comfort than cushioning or pronation.
